1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Bakaya (the “Portal”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. The Portal is provided for authorised Central Government officers and accounts staff to calculate and verify salary and pension arrears. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Portal.

2. Authorised use only

Access is restricted to authorised users with valid credentials. You agree to keep your credentials confidential and to use the Portal solely for legitimate, official arrears calculation and verification. Any unauthorised access, sharing of credentials, or use of the Portal for purposes other than intended is strictly prohibited.

3. Intellectual property & prohibition on copying

The Portal — including its software, calculation logic, design, layout, content, and underlying methodology — is the exclusive intellectual property of iWebs and is protected by applicable copyright and other laws.

Copying, cloning, reproducing, reverse-engineering, decompiling, redistributing, or creating any derivative of this product, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited and will constitute a violation of these terms and of applicable intellectual property law. Such violations may result in civil and criminal liability.

4. Accuracy & responsibility

Calculations are based on official Government of India pay-fixation rules and the rate data entered into the system. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, final figures should be verified by the competent authority before any bill is passed for payment. The Portal is a computational aid and does not replace official sanction.

5. Limitation of liability

The Portal is provided “as is”. iWebs shall not be liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Portal, including errors in input data or rate configuration.
